Attending Your Virtual Emergency Exercise
Day 1: First we will provide simple tips on communications, all communications we do will be in the form of Text Chat so it
can be re-read as needed. Then we will take everyone to our VEE Head Quarters so they may all acquire their free uniforms
and other 3D items they will need and instructions on how everything is used. Finally we will provide a tour of our simulation.
Day 2: We will introduce our 10 Step Plan of Events for the exercise and do several dry runs of the exercise until everyone
knows where to go from start to finish. Here we will explain to each person what they are to do and how to do it. All are
encouraged to listen to the instructions even if they do not apply to their particular role to better understand the Second
Life interface system and to be aware of what is going on around them.
Day 3 and 4: We continue the exercise several more times adding new information and tips for everyone involved. It is here
where the Professors and students may add more information to the exercise based on their in-class lesson plans. The students
are also now asked to start using full communications with each other based on what they are doing using both text and voice
chat.
Day 5: The final exercise will be preformed after we give the command to begin however after that command we will not provide
any assistance for the rest of the exercise. This will be carried out twice. Finally we go back to the VEE Office for the
table top exercise to discuss the exercise from the points of view of government officials, media and their role. The table
top exercise is not part of what we offer other than a place to hold your meeting privately in our virtual operations center.
Payment can be made by either check or PayPal, we provide receipts for your tax purposes. All work we do complies with the
